Winlogbeat update process

Hi,
How often is the Winlogbeat agent updated and how is it done: automatically or manually? Winlogbeat 7.17.18 is already available on the official website, but only 7.17.11 is available in the Web-Ui ELS. If any vulnerability or problem is found in it, how quickly will it be fixed?

Hi,
If any vulnerability or serious problem is detected with any of the agents, we're patching them right up. Generally beats agents are pretty straight forward, and they verified with every version of ELS. Truth being told, if you use newer version of winlogbeat (OSS only!) and it works without any data malformed, there's no serious reason why you shouldn't use it if you prefer so.
