NumberOne Hello! Can you tell me how to correctly migrate existing dashboards and alerts to a new cluster? It is necessary to save the current configuration and visualizations, including all settings and notification rules. Can I just import them?
SzymonC Yes, you have to do that separately. For dashboards go to the Management -> Stack Management -> Saved object. In there you can select dashboards you want to export with it's dependent objects. Later on the same way you can import the file to your new environment. For alerts go to Management -> Config - Sync/Copy module. For this you need both environments running with connection between them available. Create two profiles, one for each cluster and you need to synchronize internal index called .alertrules from old cluster to new cluster. For alert, remember that some configuration is stored in physical alert config file on the server and it cannot be exported from UI. Check /opt/alert directory where your UI Node is.
NumberOne Unfortunately, the synchronization cannot be configured because the new cluster is deployed in a closed segment.
SzymonC I see. In that case you have to create dump from an .alertrules index and import it manually using dumping tool: https://kb.energylogserver.com/en/7.7.0/04-User_Manual/04-User_Manual.html#elasticdump
