The installation probably failed at some stage or the directory configuration was changed after installation.
I suggest checking the contents of /usr/share/kibana/repo/ on the GUI server.
In the latest version, install.sh leaves behind a log file ~/install/install-${data}.log. It will potentially contain errors that will allow identification.
